Bucharest is an interesting city. It has a lot of history – both communist and democratic. During communist reign, The priminister at the time, put a lot of money in to make everything bigger and “better” than anywhere else in the world. This fountain is huge, constantly runs with water and each night it has a lights and music show.
We were in Bucharest mid week and our guide told us the music show only happens on the weekends. However, on our last night we were heading back to our accommodation when we heard music coming from the central park. It was the fountain! We enjoyed over 20 minutes of a water, lights and music show. The timing was exquisit! The colours vibrant and the music beautiful!
