Another furry creature of the Forrest – the milk moss. In real life it is light green, grows close to the ground and has fluffy edges which look sharp. Capturing this in black & white highlights it’s variations in it’s colour – the shadows which are usually hidden in the sunlight give it depth and mystery. I found this one covering a stump and emerging from the undergrowth. I think I really did see some fairies under there ! 😉
