Pukematekeo Lookout – the highest point visitable in the Waitakere ranges. With views across the whole of Auckland and all directions it is simply a special place. Sunrise and sunset you can see it all.
I took this photo of the sunset in late march 2022 – the colours were soft and dynamic, and the surrounds in deep black in shadow. Nope, I couldn’t quite see Australia!
