Letting nature do it’s thing in my garden – yes, that means letting the aphids attack the rose bush. It also means I am very likely to capture the moment – yes, that nature moment. Where we all think bugs and anything that eats our beloved plants is bad – we must spray and get rid of them. All in the name of the “perfect plants” in the garden.
Well, there is no such thing. Bugs and plants have been living together for millions of years. They co-exist, give life to each other, work as a team, keep everything working in balanceĀ – a circle to keep the world turning.
I challenge you, the next time you think to get rid of the bugs and pests from your garden look closely. Very closely – see what they see, see what they do, look into their home, and think about if you would like the actions you are about to take.
(No plant, bug or human was hurt during the taking of this photo.)
