Pukematekeo – Probably the bewt view in the whole of Auckland. From the top of the Waitakere Ranges you can see the sunrise and the sunset. You can see Great Barrier Island, The Bombay Hills, and (almost) Australia 😉 .
I had not long got my Fuji XT-3 Camera and wanted to see what I could capture with it and a lensball. Arriving at Pukematekeo in the evening on a clear summers night, I was able to view spectacular colours of the sun setting over Te Henga Beach and the dusky light over Auckland city as the sun disappeared from view. The lensball helped me prolong the contrast between dusk and darkness.
