I took this photo on Christmas Day 2021. It was that horrible Christmas where there were still restrictions about meeting with people and large groups. It was the first Christmas my husband and I had on our own in Auckland. It was lovely. We rushed around on Christmas eve to get supplies, made a Christmas cake from scratch and filled the day with an excursion to Muriwai Beach. It was such a stunning day too!
